This GPS Workshop will give the pilot an immediate opportunity to apply the classroom knowledge in the BJS simulator. The simulator is equipped with a Garmin 430 GPS and provides the pilot with amazing real world duplication of GPS flight. Instructors can take you from the very basic “Direct To” to the intricate major terminal holds, from good weather to bad necessitating a variety of real world decisions captured on a computer print out for post flight review with your instructor. The simulator instrument time is fully recognized by the FAA, can be applied towards your IFR initial training, recurrency as well as total flight time for Commercial rating.
